EETA , the association body of the department of Electrical and Electronics in association with IEEE Student Branch conducted a Workshop on Smart Control of Electric Devices using Android Smart Phone on 15th November 2015.The workshop included sessions on introduction to run anywhere applications, development of mobile applications with cloud server  and data acquisition and measurement . The sessions concluded with hands on development of mobile applications to control electrical appliances.
