The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was constituted in 2003 in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to institutionalise a culture of quality and excellence. It serves as the central body for setting, sustaining, and enhancing academic and administrative standards in alignment with the University’s vision, mission, and core values. The IQAC plans, implements, monitors, and reviews quality initiatives across all institutional functions, fostering continuous improvement and stakeholder participation. It promotes the internalisation of quality practices through collaboration with Centres, Departments, and administrative units. The Cell also coordinates national and international rankings and accreditations while functioning as a nodal agency for documentation, communication, and dissemination of quality-related information.
