Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS)
NCC offers a compelling opportunity for Christites to develop essential life skills. Enriched with a rich legacy, the cell focuses on character development, leadership, and fostering a sense of selfless service. Open to both male and female students, it provides comprehensive training in various military subjects, thus providing preferences in a wide range of careers. NCC cadets have the chance to represent their country in international youth exchange programs, and the program has a history of hosting distinguished military leaders.
CHRIST University promotes physical well-being and sportsmanship through a wide array of sports and games. Students are encouraged to participate in various athletic activities, which help in developing teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. The university's sports infrastructure supports both recreational and competitive sports, contributing to the holistic development of students.
The Student Welfare Office (SWO) is dedicated to the holistic development of students by providing platforms for cultural, artistic, and leadership activities. It organizes events like Darpan, Blossoms, and Inbloom to identify and nurture talents across various domains. TSWO has University Volunteer Body, University Cultural Team, University Choir Team, Natyarpana (University Dance Team), and the University Quiz Association (CUQA), each offering students opportunities to develop skills and contribute to the university community.
To benefit from the practise of storytelling, the university has initiated “Vignette Windows: A Writer’s Guild”, an initiative which would support the documentation of various narratives of campus lives. The forum for story writing is constituted with the vision to enable the use of stories based on the past and the present events at the University to create a narrative culture within the community.
