The IQAC Orientation programmes serve as a platform to understand and engage with the University’s quality assurance framework, processes and initiatives. Bringing together the IQAC Office team, School/Campus IQAC Coordinators, Department-level IQAC Coordinators, IQAC administrative staff and other representatives from across campuses, these sessions foster meaningful discussions, deliberations and the exchange of ideas, with participants from off-campus locations joining online.
Beyond orientation, these programmes provide an opportunity to reflect on existing practices, share suggestions and collaboratively explore innovative and meaningful solutions for strengthening institutional quality and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organised an orientation session, “Crafting Winning Proposals for Times Higher Education Awards Asia & World University Rankings for Innovation,” to strengthen faculty members’ understanding of global awards and ranking frameworks and equip them with strategies for developing competitive proposals.
The session provided an overview of the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia and the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), covering their evaluation frameworks, categories, submission requirements, timelines, and proposal development strategies. Participants were guided on how to present institutional initiatives through clear narratives, measurable outcomes, and credible supporting evidence.
Specific guidance was provided on submission formats and documentation requirements for both frameworks, along with approaches to demonstrate the social impact, outcomes, scalability, and relevance of institutional initiatives.
The session concluded with key action points and internal submission timelines, enabling faculty members and IQAC Coordinators to translate impactful institutional practices into strong, evidence-based proposals for global recognition.
At the beginning of the academic year 2026–27, the IQAC conducted its Annual Orientation & Planning Meet on 25 June 2026 to provide School and Campus IQAC Coordinators with a strategic overview of quality assurance priorities and planned activities for the year.
The session focused on strengthening institutional quality processes, preparing for the forthcoming NAAC accreditation cycle, and aligning School and Campus-level activities with the University's strategic priorities.
The meeting introduced the Mission NAAC 3.0 roadmap, reviewed the University's annual quality assurance calendar and IQAC vertical initiatives, and highlighted key areas including documentation, audits, rankings, capacity building, publications, and strategic initiatives.
Coordinators were encouraged to undertake preparatory activities, identify institutional gaps, and strengthen coordination and evidence-based quality practices across their respective Schools and Campuses.
