Internal Quality Assurance Cell

IQAC Report

The IQAC Report is a comprehensive institutional document that captures the strategic efforts and contributions of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell across its five key verticals—Documentation & Audits, Rankings, Accreditations & Awards, Training & Development, Publications, and Strategic Initiatives. Conceived as an annual initiative, the report presents a consolidated view of how IQAC drives quality enhancement by aligning its activities with institutional priorities and evolving benchmarks in higher education. It reflects a systematic approach to meeting annual requirements through structured processes, continuous monitoring, and outcome-oriented planning.

Through detailed accounts of initiatives, discussions, capacity-building programmes, and collaborative engagements, the report highlights IQAC’s role as a catalyst for institutional growth and excellence. It showcases how each vertical contributes to strengthening academic and administrative frameworks while fostering innovation, accountability, and global competitiveness. More than a record of activities, the IQAC Report serves as a narrative of progress—demonstrating the university’s sustained commitment to quality, transparency, and continuous improvement.

The Green Audit for the academic year 2024–25 was conducted across multiple campuses of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) by an external agency, Eco Energime Engineers LLP, in coordination with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The audit covered key campuses including Bangalore Central, Bannerghatta Road, Yeshwanthpur, and Kengeri, and was carried out during the academic year 2024–25 through a structured on-site evaluation and documentation review process.

From an IQAC perspective, the audit aimed to assess and enhance environmental sustainability practices across the institution. The scope of the audit included water management, energy conservation, waste management, green campus initiatives, and environmental sustainability practices, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of resource utilisation and eco-friendly infrastructure. The methodology involved site inspections, stakeholder interactions, policy reviews, and analysis of existing systems such as sewage treatment plants, renewable energy installations, and waste segregation mechanisms.

Based on the recommendations provided, the University has undertaken significant measures to strengthen its sustainability practices, including improved resource efficiency, expansion of renewable energy usage, enhanced waste management systems, and better utilisation of treated water. These initiatives have contributed to the development of a more environmentally responsible campus ecosystem, reinforcing the University’s commitment to sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and long-term environmental stewardship.
