Francisco– the story of St. Francis of Assisi is the second Theatre Mega Production by the CHRIST (Deemed to be University) students.

The Theatre Mega Production is the magnum opus of the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) performed every year by the students from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) from across all disciplines of the university. The script, the music, the Lyrics, the costume design, the Sets design, the publicity design and execution, are all other aspects of a play are conceptualized and executed by the students. The play is directed by Ms, Esther Yates (HOD Theatre Studies), under whose able guidance, the overall aspects and nitty-gritties of the play are ably supervised.

Francisco (Francis of Assisi) is a poor man but rich in personality, belief and values that charm and attract more than just the people in his environment. Born to nobility, but no longer a part of it he embraces a life of poverty and service to God through serving mankind. His miracles with God’s creation are both mysterious and enchanting to the noble and the commoner alike.

We discover the beauty of all that is pure in “Francisco”, an awe inspiring story of passion, hope, love and abiding faith.
