The Department of Life Sciences had organized a talk on Entrepreneurship and Career path by an alumnus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) on the topic ““Crowd funding and Careers in Science and Research” for Life Sciences undergraduate students on March 5, 2019. The resource person was Shashank Koushik, Founder, Backyourscience.com. The event took place in Council Room, Central Block, Central Campus at 9 am. Dr Suma S who was the organizer of the event gave the welcome address. Mr Shashank spoke on the research avenues which crowdfunding gives opportunities for. The lecture was very informative and truly inspiring. The students had lots of queries on the technicalities of crowd funding.
