Candidates falling under any of the below mentioned categories must apply under the International Student Category: 
1. Foreign citizens,
2. PIO card holders and
3. OCI (Dual Citizens)

International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should:
a) produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or
b) have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for
a) Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or
b) One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution /  agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.

  • The University does not collect any type of Capitation / Donation other than the fee mentioned in the website.
  • If the Application is incomplete or incorrect, the University Management has the right to reject it.

Create an application login at https://appstat.christuniversity.in using NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID, and a password. The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages. An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme are fulfilled.

All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process.
 
An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – June - 2024] must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 20 September 2024.
 
Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.
 
All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card).
 
The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after the commencement of classes, including fee payment, will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.
 
Selected candidates who fall under the international student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bengaluru, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bengaluru.
 
The date of commencement of the academic Year 2024 will be intimated during the admission process.
 
Applicants are cautioned against the following: 
I) The University does not authorise any third party/individual to conduct selection process or offer/process admission on its behalf.
Receiving SMS/Email from unauthorized/unknown sources promising/confirming admissions.
Applicants interacting with such sources will be doing so at their own risk.
 
II) All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost if required by the department.
 
III) Admitted students who wish to avail bank loan will be provided with a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.
 
IV) The decision of the admission committee is final and binding.

OPTIONAL PRACTICAL TRAINING (OPT)
OPT is a paid internship facility provided for international students to undertake paid internship under student visa (work visa not required). The main purpose of OPT is to help students acquire practical experience in the field of their study. Normal duration of OPT is 12 months. However, students in STEM specializations viz., Information Systems and Decision Analytics can extend OPT by another two years (24 months).

HOSTEL FACILITIES
It is compulsory for students to stay in hostels on VCU campus. Students can choose either a single room or a double sharing room. Each hostel unit will have 2-4 rooms, a living room with furniture and fully equipped kitchenette. Though TV is not provided in the units, students may purchase their own TV on arrival.

General instructions for applicants reporting for selection process:
 
1. Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link “https://appstat.christuniversity.in" on the University website and print the same. All candidates must read through the contents published in the admit card and must carry the all the required documents mentioned in the admit card along with a printed copy of the admit card.
 
2. The Centre allotment is based on the candidate’s preference opted to appear for the Selection Process in the application form and further change will not be entertained. However, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) reserves the right to cancel, combine or change the Venue/Centres, depending on the number of candidates in specific Venue/Centres.

3. The preferred date for selection process will be allotted, subject to availability of slots. Request for change in selection process dates, time OR venue will not be entertained.

4. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the Selection Process without the E-Admit Card, Copy of Application Form, Application processing fee acknowledgment slip and mark statements of (Class 10, Class 12, Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (Semester/Year/Consolidated) If results are awaited, then marks card till the last semester/year and Scorecard of Sep MAT 2023 | Dec MAT 2023 Feb MAT 2024 | Nov/Dec CAT 2023 | CMAT 2024 | ATMA 2024 | XAT 2024 | GMAT 2023 / 2024 | GRE 2023 / 2024.

5. ID proof will be verified during the selection process. The following may be used as ID proof: Aadhar card/Passport/Voter ID/Recent College ID card.

6. Candidates must report for the above selection process on the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the time stipulated on the selection process admit card.

7. Travel arrangements for out station candidates must be made in advance as per the selection process dates published on our website.

8. Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process. The candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.

9. Request for change in Selection Process dates / timings and change in Centre will not be entertained. Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.

10. Cellular phone, other electronic gadgets etc., are not allowed into the Selection Process Venue.

11. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the Selection Process of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) at any Centre.

12. All candidates are requested to prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process. Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for Presentation 2024" during the GD_MP.

13. Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link "Application Status" from our website and print the same.

14. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for Admission rests with the student/candidate. Issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied.

15. Important: Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.

Candidates who have passed the Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-June 2024 are also eligible to apply.
 
MAT score of 550 and above OR CAT score of 60 percentile and above OR XAT score of 60 percentile and above OR CMAT score of 60 percentile and above OR ATMA score of 60 percentile and above OR GMAT score of 450 and above OR GRE score of 295 and above.
 
For MBA (CU) + MBA (WMU, USA): Students must also obtain a minimum composite score of 450 in GMAT or 295 in GRE before students formally apply for WMU admission which will be during September 2024. (Mandatory).

# The fee for Karnataka domicile students, as indicated in the table, is the actual fee payable and excludes the scholarship amount.
 
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for two years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.
 
Note: Living and Travel expenses are not included in the above fee.
For MBA (Christ) + MS Business (VCU, USA), it is mandatory for students to go to the USA for 9 months. In addition to the Tuition and Fee, students must be prepared to pay for incidental expenses such as Hostel Fees, mandatory health insurance, Airfare, Visa Charges, Textbooks, food, and other living expenses (approximately US$22000 all put together).
 
An estimate of the all-inclusive total budget for the second year in Indian Rupees at the current exchange rates will be Rs. 38.15 Lakhs (This may slightly vary subject to exchange rate fluctuations). Admitted students and their families must be prepared to show proof of this amount while applying for a visa to travel to the USA for the second year of education at VCU."
 
1. NRI fee is applicable for the first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. In subsequent years Other Indian States fee will be applicable.
 
(The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).
 
2. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who;
    2.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
    2.2. Are NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category.
 
3. To claim the Indian category fee, the candidates should have studied last 7 years in India. (Not applicable for OCI, PIO and Foreign Nationals).
 
4. Admission registration fee of INR 5000/- is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of admission. This fee will be apart from cancellation charges if applicable.
 
5. All Candidates If “Selected” after appearing for the final selection process, the fee may be paid through the following option:
