Dr. Nancy Abraham is an accomplished academician, Bharatanatyam practitioner, and researcher. She holds two master's degrees: an MBA from Acharya College, Bangalore, and an MA in Dance from Tamil University. Her research focuses on Mandala Nritta, a war dance based on Natyasastra, with Indian aesthetics and performing arts as additional research interests. Dr. Nancy has published articles in UGC CARE journals, international online journals, and contributed to book chapters. She holds NET in Dance and has served on the board of studies for Performing Arts at Kristujayanti College, where she contributed to the NEP syllabus framework. She also serves as an examiner for dance practical exams at Hampi University and Jyoti Nivas College. Dr. Nancy has been honored with the Rashtrapati Award by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and the Nritya Ratna Award at the Puri International Dance Festival. Since 2017, she has been associated with Christ University, where she currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Performing Arts.
