The PhD in Psychology helps the research scholar to have a better insight about the behavioral and mental process of the human beings. The course work emphasizes on the various tools and techniques used in research and also provides deeper knowledge about the quantitative and qualitative analysis in research. PhD programme in Psychology encourages research Scholars to conduct research in the areas like Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Cross –Cultural Psychology and Social Cognition. Thus, the research scholars can contribute for the development of Inter disciplinary research which in turn helps life missions that integrate psychological understanding to life.    

 

 

The Master of Science in Psychology - Human Resource Development and Management is a two-year programme aimed towards developing a more humanistic approach in learners for improving the productivity, profitability and performance of an organization. The programme provides a foundational understanding of application of psychological concepts and principles at the workplace, ethical research and data analysis, psychological assessments at workplace and change management. It is interdisciplinary in nature and is offered to those learners who wish to achieve professional expertise in management of human and social side of work organizations. The programme is an integration of foundational 

principles of human resource management and current trends in people management practices like evidence-based decision making, artificial intelligence at workplace and mental health at workplace. Additionally, the learners are provided the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, implementing and evaluating workshops; selecting and deploying appropriate data collection techniques; analyzing and interpreting primary and secondary data; and choosing and deploying appropriate change interventions. Furthermore, the learners also get industry exposure through interactions with working professionals which contributes to a more holistic professional development of the learners.
 

 

 

 

 

 
 

The Master of Science Clinical Psychology programme is a dedicated, full-time two-year program offered by the Department of Psychology at CHRIST, BYC. Its primary objective is to equip students with the necessary skills to become effective scientist-practitioners in the fields of psychology and psychotherapy. This program features a structured curriculum that fosters learning through a blend of core theoretical courses, practical skill-based training,

and valuable internships, all while nurturing scientific research abilities. Moreover, students are presented with opportunities to expand their knowledge in allied mental health disciplines like psychiatry and pharmacology through supplementary courses. Additionally, the program promotes the development of socially responsible citizens by encouraging engagement in community service initiatives.

 

 

 

 

 

The programme offers a blend of theoretical and practical courses which prepares students for future professional endeavors. Counselling and professional skills are nurtured and honed by providing hands-on training in counselling, 

exposure to field visits, certification courses, one-to-one mentoring sessions, opportunities to publish research studies, on-site observerships and internships and an exposure to cutting edge research laboratories.

 

 

The programme conducted by the Department of Psychology introduces the intricacies of human behaviour, and the genetic, neural and biological bases for human behaviour, and their impact on cognitive and emotional processes. It will explain how we function in interpersonal, social and organisational contexts and introduce methods of research to study human behaviour.

The programme is offered trimester-wise with thirteen core courses and seven open electives. Each course will earn four credits. Core and elective courses will be offered in a staggered manner and will have to be completed within the maximum duration of the programme.

The Master of Science in Educational Psychology provides students with an opportunity to engage with information, knowledge, skills, policies, and practices for the benefit of children, families, schools, and society. This unique programme combines modern psychological theories with educational approaches. The programme offers practical and Internships and training in counselling skills

throughout the year and paid study abroad programmes for interested students. The programme is built with the intellectual collaboration of University of Massachusetts, Amherst and Washington State University. MSc Educational Psychology is jointly offered by the Department of Psychology and The School of Education at the Bangalore Central Campus.

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

The Master of Science in Psychology (Human Resource Development and Management) offered by Christ University and Master of Arts in (Business and Organisational Psychology) by Steinbeis, Germany is a two year collaborative programme. The programme consists of four semesters, which includes two months in Berlin. The course is aimed to develop students to meet the demand of contemporary work challenges by imbibing the principles of organization and psychological concepts. This programme compasses a range of courses adopting modular teaching pedagogy, and offers a gamut of opportunity opening direct global exposure both nationally and internationally. The MSc in Clinical Psycho-oncology is a multidisciplinary programme designed for those interested in the psychosocial care of cancer survivors and palliative care. It is ideal for Social Workers, Nurses, Doctors, Psychologists, and Allied Health Professionals.

The program imparts knowledge on psychosocial aspects throughout the cancer journey, emphasizing clinical and counseling skills, as well as ethical sensitivity. Internships in Oncology settings enhance student opportunities in the field of psycho-oncology. 

 

 

 

 

 

The Master of Science in Neuropsychology is a two-year post-graduate programme designed to provide the learner with a foundational understanding of the Neurobiological Aspects of cognition, affect and behavior; foundations of  Neuropsychology, Neuropsychological assessment and intervention. Additionally, the course also provides a comprehensive training in experimental research methods in cognitive and neurosciences.

The combined majors in Psychology and English offer students the opportunity to take an integrated approach towards both subjects. This course provides ample scope to explore the discipline of Psychology and English in depth. This interlinked approach offers exclusive areas of expertise with conceptual and methodological clarity. In the third year, students will be awarded the Undergraduate Degree with English and Psychology as the majors.
