Global Immersion Programme to Malaysia

The Global Immersion Programme to Malaysia was an unforgettable experience that broadened my perspectives both personally and academically. Immersing myself in Malaysian culture through visits to cultural landmarks and local markets allowed me to gain a deeper appreciation for the country’s history and culture. 
Throughout the trip, I had the opportunity to meet many new people and some of them have since become very close friends, therefore I am deeply grateful for this experience. The university sessions were particularly meaningful, teaching me the importance of cultural respect and openness, balanced leadership, and learning beyond the classroom. I learned that effective leadership involves not only skills and authority, but also emotional awareness, ethics, and a positive mindset. 
Experiencing Malaysia firsthand showed me that some of life’s most valuable lessons come from real-world exposure, meaningful connections, and stepping outside of my comfort zone.
