Sports

The Physical Education Department organises many sports and games events during the academic year where university team selections take place. Special coaching camps are held for Football, Basketball, Throwball, Hockey and Volleyball teams.

The annual intercollegiate sports festival, Chri-Spo is normally held in month of August of every year. In this prestigious intercollegiate sports festival, events in Football, Basketball, Hockey, Volleyball and Throwball for men and women are held.

Activities of the Year 2009 - 10

The Basketball Mens Team participated in Inter-University Tournament at VIT, Vellore from 26-10-09 to 31-10-09 and reached the fourth round.
The Football Mens Team particpated in Inter-University Tournament at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore from 25-11-09 to 30-11-09 and reached the fourth round.
The Football Womens Team participated in Inter-University Tournament at Pondicherry University, Pondicherry from 04/01/10 to 08/01/10 and reached third round.
The Badminton Mens and Womens Teams participated in Inter-University Tournament at Mangalore University, Mangalore from 07/01/10 to 12/01/10 and reached the second round.
