Dr. Sagayaraj Kanagaraj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at CHRIST University. He also serves as the Research Coordinator for the department and Campus Coordinator at the Center for Digital Learning. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Madras and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, awarded with a Gold Medal. Dr. Sagayaraj earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, supported by an ICMR Senior Research Fellowship. His expertise includes psychometric scale development, clinical assessments, and experimental research. He holds three intellectual property rights, including India's first sexual orientation scale. Dr. Sagayaraj has presented 16 research papers at national and international conferences and published 21 peer-reviewed articles. He serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for nine journals affiliated with prestigious publishers. His research collaborations include partnerships with NIEPMD in Chennai and institutions in the US, UK, EU, and New Zealand.
