Dr Biljo V Joseph is a scholar specializing in Molecular Microbiology. He holds masters degrees from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He completed his doctoral degree from University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. He received CSIR Junior Research Fellowship during his doctoral research. He has received grants and scholarships from DBT India and Wellcome Trust. He also received support from Keystone Symposia in the United States. He underwent training in Pathogen Genomics organized by Oxford University. He has published research articles in reputed international peer reviewed journals. He has presented his work at conferences organized by Keystone Symposia. His research group focuses on organic solid waste management and sustainability. He also works on grey water treatment for agricultural reuse applications. He has been associated with CHRIST University since the year 2013. He contributes consistently to academic research and institutional development.
