Overview

 

The MBA program at CHRIST is a full-time, two-year program with six trimesters. It has a rigorous curriculum that combines core courses and a wide range of elective courses. The first two trimesters are dedicated to core courses, providing students with a strong foundation. In the later trimesters,  students have the flexibility to select from six different specializations like Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Human Resource, Lean Operations and Systems, allowing them to align their MBA program to their career goal. We focus on experiential learning with Case methods, simulations, gamification, industry projects, and field studies which encourages active participation and discussions. Students analyze and discuss real-world business cases in class, fostering critical thinking, problem- solving, and decision-making skills which is an integral part of the learning process at the School of Business and Management (SBM).

Candidates falling under any of the below mentioned categories must apply under the International Student Category:

3. OCI (Dual Citizens)

International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should:
a) produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or
b) have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for
a) Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or
b) One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Candidates from the above listed categories having pursued Indian Educational qualification and who may have applied under the Indian States Category will have to pay the International Student Category Fee. The decision of the Admission committee is final.
Candidates seeking admission through International Student category (Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI) will have a separate application process, with the option to apply for any programme at Christ University.

Students who fall under any of the following classifications, at the time of application may apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the course.

1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law
2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.
3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution /  agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.
4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India.
5. Indian citizen pursued studies for qualifying examination in foreign syllabi in India.


Note: If only condition 5 is satisfied, and not conditions 1 to 4 above,NRI student category fee will be applicable only for the first year.

  • The University does not collect any type of Capitation / Donation other than the fee mentioned in the website.
  • If the Application is incomplete or incorrect, the University Management has the right to reject it.
  • Kindly do not send any original marks cards through post or courier.
  • Ignorance of the Terms, Conditions, and guidelines will not be considered as an excuse for non-fulfillment of any stipulated process.
  • The University shall allot the seat to the selected MBA (Central/Kengeri) candidate in the Bangalore Central campus or Kengeri campus based on the availability of seats.
  • All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules.
  • It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for 2 years, there will be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.
  • Fees should be paid within the stipulated date for the first year and before the commencement of final examinations of 2nd semester for the second year.
  • All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost.
  • Admitted student who wish to avail Bank Loan will be provided a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.
  • The decision of the Admission Committee is final and binding.

Selection process results will be available on https://appstat.christuniversity.in Selected candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission. The offer will be valid up to the date mentioned in the Offer of admission.
 
All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules.
 
Selected candidates must make the fee payment and download the offer of admission on the application status link https://appstat.christuniversity.in on the University website.
 
To process admission:
 
1. Candidates must choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate a smooth admission process.
 
2. Admission must be processed at the campus where the programme is offered as published in the offer of admission.
 
3. As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode.
 
4. Payment options and details will be available in the Offer of admission.
 
5. Fees for the first year, including Admission Registration fee, must be paid in full as part of the admission process.
 
Admission has to be processed as per the point (1). Admission will not be processed without the presence of [APPLICANTNAME] along with mandatory ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS and one full set of photostat copies of all the documents mentioned below (MANDATORY).
 
1. Class 10 Marks Statement and Class 12 Marks Statement (Mandatory).
 
2. Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (Semester/Year/Consolidated) If results are awaited, then marks card till the last semester/year (Mandatory).
 
3. Provisional Degree Certificate or Degree Certificate (Convocation Certificate) if the candidate has graduated before June 2023 (Mandatory).
 
4. Transfer Certificate (TC) of an undergraduate degree from the last qualified institution (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 September 2025.
 
5. Migration Certificate of an undergraduate degree from a qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Karnataka) (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 September 2025.
 
6. Copy of entrance test scorecard (Aug MAT 2024 | Dec MAT 2024 | Feb MAT 2025 | CAT 2024 | CMAT 2025 | XAT 2025 | ATMA 2025 | GMAT 2024 / 2025| GRE 2024 / 2025) (Mandatory).
 
7. Two passport size photograph formal dress with a white background (Mandatory).

10. Candidates falling under any of these categories (PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:
 
a) Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
b) PIO / OCI have to produce a copy of the PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).
c) Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and (PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS)
d) Resident Permit (RP) (If available while applying)
 
All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process.
 
An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – June - 2025] must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 20 September 2025.
 
Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.
 
All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card).
 
The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after the commencement of classes, including fee payment, will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.
 
Selected candidates who fall under the international student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bengaluru, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bengaluru.
 
The date of commencement of the academic Year 2025 will be intimated during the admission process.
 
Applicants are cautioned against the following: 
I) The University does not authorise any third party/individual to conduct selection process or offer/process admission on its behalf.
Receiving SMS/Email from unauthorized/unknown sources promising/confirming admissions.
Applicants interacting with such sources will be doing so at their own risk.
 
II) All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost if required by the department.
 
III) Admitted students who wish to avail bank loan will be provided with a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.
 
IV) The decision of the admission committee is final and binding.

General instructions for applicants reporting for selection process:
 
1. Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link “https://espro.christuniversity.in/Application/" on the University website and print the same. All candidates must read through the contents published in the admit card and must carry the all the required documents mentioned in the admit card along with a printed copy of the admit card.
 
2. The Centre allotment is based on the candidate’s preference opted to appear for the Selection Process in the application form and further change will not be entertained. However, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) reserves the right to cancel, combine or change the Venue/Centres, depending on the number of candidates in specific Venue/Centres.

3. The preferred date for selection process will be allotted, subject to availability of slots. Request for change in selection process dates, time OR venue will not be entertained.

4. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the Selection Process without the E-Admit Card, Copy of Application Form, Application processing fee acknowledgment slip and mark statements of (Class 10, Class 12, Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (Semester/Year/Consolidated) If results are awaited, then marks card till the last semester/year and a valid scorecard of Aug MAT 2024 |

5. ID proof will be verified during the selection process. The following may be used as ID proof: Aadhar card/Passport/Voter ID/Recent College ID card.

6. Candidates must report for the above selection process on the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the time stipulated on the selection process admit card.

7. Travel arrangements for out station candidates must be made in advance as per the selection process dates published on our website.

8. Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process. The candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.

9. Request for change in Selection Process dates / timings and change in Centre will not be entertained. Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.

10. Cellular phone, other electronic gadgets etc., are not allowed into the Selection Process Venue.

11. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the Selection Process of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) at any Centre.

12. All candidates are requested to prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process. Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for Presentation 2025" during the GD_MP.

13. Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link "Application Status" from our website and print the same.

14. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for Admission rests with the student/candidate. Issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied.

15. Important: Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.
 
 
 
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
 
Candidates are required to apply online only through the University website www.christuniversity.in No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
 
Candidates should thoroughly go through the programme eligibility criteria, etc. before applying.
 
All applicants are required to create a one-time registration ID to be able to apply for the programme of their choice. They can create the Login ID by
OR
  1. Through the program of your choice. After selecting the program, you will be redirected to the Registration for New Students Admission page.
Step-1 Procedure to Register as a New applicant
  1. One-time registration: This registration allows you to apply for multiple programs using the same Registration ID.
  2. Fill in your details: Enter your name as per your class 10 school certificate, a valid email ID, mobile number, WhatsApp number for further communication, date of birth, and create a password. Reconfirm the password. Ensure all data is correct before submission, as you cannot edit this personal information later. Click on the ‘Register’ button to complete the registration.
  3. Verify with OTP: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number and email ID. Enter the OTP in the given section and click on the ‘Proceed’ button. If you do not find the email in your inbox, check the spam folder.
 
Step-2 Procedure to Login
  1. Login with your credentials: Use your registered email ID and password to log in. Enter them correctly in the respective fields.
  2. Click on the Login button: After entering your details, click on the ‘Login’ button.
  3. Forgot password?: If you forgot your password, click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button and follow the necessary steps to reset it.
 
Step-3 Steps you need to follow to fill out your personal information in the application form:
  1. Select the program: Choose the program and campus to which you want to apply. If there is an option to choose preferences, kindly choose the preference accordingly. All candidates must meet the program specific eligibility criteria. (Eligibility criteria for the program is available on the admissions page on the University website). Ensure all data is correct before proceeding to next step, as you cannot edit this information later.
  2. Photograph: Upload a photo (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background only not more than 100 kb). Photos with other backgrounds or taken with mobile devices will result in rejection of the application.
  3. Read the terms and conditions: Carefully read the terms and conditions and select the declaration box below.
  4. Pre-requisites: Valid qualifying test score of either Aug MAT 2024 | Dec MAT 2024 | Nov/Dec CAT 2024 | Feb MAT 2025 | CMAT 2025 | XAT 2025 | ATMA 2025 | GMAT 2024 / 2025 | GRE 2024 / 2025.
  5. Personal information: Fill in your personal information, sports achievements (if any), and extracurricular details (if any).
  6. Parent/guardian information: Provide your current and permanent addresses, along with your parent and guardian information.
  7. Educational details: Fill in your educational details and upload clear scanned copies of class 10, class12, undergraduate degree, work experience letter (if mandatory) and valid test scores (such as MAT, CAT, etc.,) depending on the program’s eligibility criteria.  Applicants in their final year of an undergraduate degree must enter the marks up to the previous semester/year.
  8. Preview your application: Review the details you have entered. If there are any corrections needed, edit and preview the application form again. Once submitted, the details cannot be corrected, so ensure everything is accurate before submitting.
  9. Select the date and centre for the selection process: Refer to the Important Dates section before filling out the application. Choose the appropriate date and centre for the selection process based on the program you are applying for. No requests for date/venue changes will be entertained.
  10. The selection process

    Round Two - Written Skill Assessment, Skill Assessment/Verbal Assessment, and Personal Interview)
  11. The application cannot be submitted without filling in all the mandatory fields.
  12. Applicants must save the information as they proceed from page to page.
 
Step-4 Application Fee Payment:
  1. Payment Methods: You can use Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or any UPI for the payment.
  2. Non-Refundable: Applicants must remember that the application registration fee is non-refundable once the application number is generated.
  3. Secure Payment: Make sure you’re on a secure website when entering your payment information.
  4. Application Number: A 9-digit application number will be auto-generated after the successful payment of the application fee.
  5. Payment Failure: In case of payment failure due to a technical error, the application number will not be generated, and any amount deducted will be automatically refunded within 15 business days.
  6. Printing the Application: A copy of the application can be printed anytime from the login until the selection process is completed.
 
Applicants must note:
  1. Documents: Original marks cards of class 10, class12, undergraduate degree provisional/degree certificate and work experience letter and valid test scores (such as MAT, CAT, etc.,) depending on the program’s eligibility criteria and ID proof will be verified during the selection process. Applicants in their final year of an undergraduate degree must carry the marks card up to the previous semester/year.
  2. Selection Process: Conducted on the date and venue chosen during the application process or as announced by the office of admissions. The Selection Process will be held in person at the selected date and venue.
  3. All communication will be through the applicant's login only.
