  • Star and planet formation: Multi-wavelength studies of Herbig Ae/Be and T Tauri stars, brown dwarfs, and protostellar environments using UVIT, JWST, and Spitzer.
  • Astrochemistry and PAH studies: Discovery and analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and fullerenes (C60) in stellar and extragalactic environments.

  • Green Hydrogen: Electrolysis, hydrolysis, and fuel cell technologies focusing on cost-effective materials, alkaline AEM electrolyzers, and chemical hydride systems for sustainable hydrogen production.
  • Carbon-based nanomaterials for energy harvesting and storage: Development of materials for DSSC, tandem solar cells, supercapacitors, antibacterial, anticancerous, water purification, and photocatalysis applications.
  • 2D carbon materials for ion transport: Low-cost, robust 2D carbon materials enabling fast sodium and lithium ion transport in electrode applications.
