Fulbright Scholars

The Fulbright Program is an American scholarship programme of competitive, merit-based grants for international educational exchange for students, scholars, teachers, professionals, scientists and artists. Under the Fulbright Programme, competitively selected American citizens are given scholarships to study, conduct research, or exercise their talents abroad; and citizens of other countries may qualify to do the same in the United States of America.

The programme is intended to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries through the exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills. It is one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has been hosting Fulbright Fellows and Scholars from various Universities in the US for the past few years. Following are the Fulbright Fellows and Scholars who have been affiliated to CHRIST (Deemed to be University) for their Fulbright Grants.

The scholars can avail a choice of being centered on only one of the campuses of the University or choose to go between the four campuses in Bangalore or  the  Lavasa Campus in Pune, Maharashtra and/or Delhi NCR Campus.

The University offers the Fulbright Scholar, green campuses to dwell in freshness, support with FRRO registration, on campus accommodation, physical and online access to library resources, dedicated office working space, on campus free wifi connectivity, multiple teaching and learning exposures, freedom to collaborate on research/teaching with  faculty members from diverse disciplines, and access to sports facilities.

I joined the University to pursue my studies and once I came to India, there were language and cultural barriers which made it hard for me to communicate and understand people. But a few months into Christ, I was able to communicate better in the English language, thanks to
