BRIDGING THE FUTURE is the innovative collaborative effort of the University engaging CSA and the BOSCH. CHRIST, having been acclaimed for its path-breaking initiatives in Indian higher education with the introduction of innovative and modern curricula, insistence on academic discipline, imparting of Holistic Education and adoption of global higher education practices has been associated with Bosch Limited for BRIDGE Programme as an implementing training partner. Having begun its journey during June, 2017, with 24 trainees, the BRIDGE Programme is helping underprivileged students who have completed their 10th standard and dropped out in the 11th or 12th standard or in any other course and who have reached the age of 18 years. BRIDGE focuses on students who are from economically disadvantaged families, unemployed and lack the skills to earn a living. Students are brought together and given a platform, where they are given two months continuous training on various areas such as communication skills, personality development, customer service, basic computer knowledge along with spoken English, etc. Once these students complete their two months continuous training Programme, they are given 100% placement as sales/retail executive, marketing executive, product promoter, office assistant, lab assistant, loan processing executives, accounts executives, etc.
I am studying in 9th grade, I have benefited from a speechless opportunity in the CSP program for the past 8 years. I received school bags, shoes, Christmas gifts, study exposure, extracurricular activities, moral values education which made me more confident. I am able to speak English very fluently and I got opportunity to participate in the stage
I’m Yashaswini R, a sponsored child of CSA, who is a 10th grader in Bethany English Primary & High School. Through the program, I learnt to give respect to others and to communicate well as I improve proficiency in speaking, listening and reading. The support given by the facilitators and volunteers helped me to improve my skills
