Dr. Chaitra Rangappa Beerannavar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore Central Campus. She has been teaching at the university since 2017. She holds a Ph.D. focused on "A Critical Study of Reverse Mergers as a Method of Going Public: A Comparative Study of the U.S., China, and India." Dr. Chaitra earned four gold medals and achieved first rank in her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. In 2016, she received the Sixteenth Dr. D.C. Pavate Memorial Visiting Fellowship at the Centre of International Studies, University of Cambridge, U.K. She is also a Senior Member of Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge. Dr. Chaitra actively researches corporate and commercial law, as well as laws concerning women and children. She has presented at international conferences and published articles in Scopus-indexed journals. She serves as a resource person for institutions like NHRC, NCW, and BEML. Her academic contributions also extend to training and collaborating with multiple academic institutions.
