Dr. Dhanya K A specializes in accounting and finance, with sixteen years of teaching experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from the University of Calicut and an M.Phil from Bharathiar University. She also earned an M.Com from the University of Calicut and an MBA from Madras University. She has qualified for NET and JRF in Commerce. Dr. Dhanya has co-authored two books on intellectual property rights. She has several national and international publications and conference presentations. Dr. Dhanya has delivered over twenty invited talks. She is a fellow member of the Indian Accounting Association and a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Training and Development. Her research interests include Financial Management, Capital Market, Corporate Governance, and Business Sustainability. In 2014, she was awarded a minor research project by the UGC. In 2020, Dr. Dhanya received the Vanitha Rathna Puraskar by JSS, Malappuram District, Kerala.
