Master of Science (Behavioural Economics with Data Analytics) - Overview

MSc Behavioural Economics with Data Analytics is a first-of-its-kind master's programme in India, with its strength lying in the interdisciplinary nature of the courses and industry exposure. The courses are designed and offered collaboratively by academic and industry experts from both India and abroad.

Why choose this Course?

The growing recognition of the limitations of traditional economic models—particularly their assumptions of fully rational agents—has created a strong and sustained demand for expertise in Behavioural Economics.
This field integrates insights from psychology, cognitive science, and economics to better understand decision-making processes, both at the individual and institutional levels.
There is a rising demand from policy institutions, such as central banks and government behavioural insights teams.
This MSc programme is designed to meet this interdisciplinary demand by equipping students with both theoretical foundations and practical tools for real-world applications.
The programme also aligns with national and global educational priorities by contributing to evidence-based policy and fostering innovation in economic thinking.
The programme will be the first MSc programme in Behavioural Economics offered in India.
