About the Programme

The undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) (Honours/Honours with Research) offered by the School of Business and Management, Yeshwanthpur Campus, is designed to prepare students for the evolving world of business and management through a blend of academic learning, practical exposure, and industry engagement. The four-year programme (8 semesters) provides students with a strong foundation in business, management, entrepreneurship, communication, and decision-making while enabling them to specialize in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, or Business Analytics based on their career interests.
The curriculum is structured to help students understand the dynamics of starting, managing, and scaling businesses in today’s competitive environment. The  programme also encourages multidisciplinary learning through electives and skill-based courses that broaden students’ perspectives beyond traditional management education. Equal emphasis is given to developing analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, innovation, and adaptability to prepare students for managerial roles in the modern workplace. Learning is supported through case studies, internships, live projects, presentations, industrial visits, research work, and continuous interaction with industry professionals. Students are also encouraged to actively participate in fests, competitions, social outreach initiatives, and co-curricular activities that contribute to their overall personal and professional growth. The Honours with Research pathway further enables students to strengthen their research aptitude and pursue higher studies or doctoral programmes in reputed institutions across the world.
