About the Programme

BA (Psychology, Economics) the combined majors in economics and psychology offers students the opportunity to integrate the study of economics with psychology These interlinked disciplines have their own exclusive areas of expertise with conceptual and methodological specializations which helps the student to have a clear understanding with regard to their possibilities. While providing the opportunity for an integrated approach, this course provides ample scope to learn the discipline of economics and psychology in depth where students can major either in the discipline of economics or psychology for further studies.The program offers an eclectic mix of electives that promotes interdisciplinary academic engagement without compromising on discipline-specific identities. In the third year, students will be awarded the Undergraduate degree with Economics and Psychology as the majors. After the successful completion of the three-year degree programme, the students have the option to do an honors programme/honors programme with research either in Psychology or Economics. Option for ability enhancement course is restricted to French/German/Spanish/Additional English only.
