About the Programme

The BA in Theatre and Creative Media is a unique and forward-thinking program that combines the traditional art forms with modern media technologies. It is designed for individuals who want to explore the boundaries of creativity, develop a diverse skill set, and embark on a fulfilling career in the arts and media industry. Through a holistic curriculum, expert faculty, and a collaborative environment, this program empowers students to become versatile, innovative, and well-rounded artists and media professionals.
This program equips students for navigating live performance and the emerging digital media space for careers in arts and entertainment. Students will learn foundations of storytelling, composition, and publicity to bring dynamic stories to life both on the stage and through multimedia formats.

They will also collaborate on all aspects of production projects, including acting, directing, stage management, editing, costumes, lights, sound, props, and set design. The faculty consists of accomplished artists, experienced media professionals, and industry experts who are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of creative talent. They provide guidance and mentorship, sharing their wealth of knowledge and practical insights with students. This real-world expertise ensures that our graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of the creative industry and adapt to the rapidly changing landscape. At the end of the third year, students will be awarded a BA in Theatre and Creative Media degree. Students who have secured 75% marks and above in the first six semesters will have the option to pursue Honours in Theatre.
