About the Programme
The department offers a programme leading to the Ph.D. in electrical engineering. The programme aims to develop a dynamic researcher enabling them to adapt to the ever changing needs in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Research activity spans a broad spectrum of Electrical and Electronics Engineering subjects, which include (but are not limited to):

The primary objective of the Department is to produce globally competent engineering graduates with values, a sense of responsibility and good communication skills. The department aims to develop the graduates' skills in areas such as Power Systems, Microcontrollers, Renewable, Smart Grids, Signal Processing, Electric Vehicles and data analytic software etc. To achieve this goal, the department has a team of highly qualified, committed and self-motivated teachers with varied experience in academics, industry and research organizations.
