Being in the field of hospitality education for more than 25 years, our primary objective is to ensure quality education and research to match the contemporary market dynamics. With a growth mindset, our faculty, alumni and students continue to explore concepts and ideas for the next generation hospitality market. We have developed successful entrepreneurs and confident industry professionals and leaders who actively contribute to the success of the department and the industry.

Our primary objective is to inculcate hospitality knowledge and skills through continuous research and experiential learning and to transform individuals to leaders in the hospitality industry. Our focus is on research and experiential learning in the areas of hospitality operations, gastronomy and management. We look forward to create a global platform for the future hospitality leaders.

The department actively equips student with necessary skills required for the hospitality industry by organising events and activities. Our curriculum involves, theory and practice sessions along with a student operated restaurant on campus.  The programme has three internships and other activities such as SWAD – promoting local food, sustainable farming practices and food produce, Parivaar – Community service and service learning, Italk – Expert talks, Masterclass – Culinary demonstrations, Cul-Art – Restaurant management club, Sour Grapes – The beverage club, UKTI (webinars) and many more, which help students work on their management and operational skills.

We are convinced that each and every student cherishes the experience on campus and thrive for amelioration each year so that the students learn and are ready to face the industry.
