Mr. Souradeep Rakshit specializes in Human Rights Law and legal studies. He has nearly ten years of academic teaching experience. He completed B.A. LL.B and LL.M from University of North Bengal. He received the prestigious University Governors Medal for academic excellence. He is pursuing doctoral research on rights of arrested under-trial prisoners. His research examines judicial approaches and legal inconsistencies in this domain. He has published articles in UGC CARE and SCOPUS indexed journals. He has also contributed chapters to reputed academic and legal publications. He served as lead instructor for criminal law capsule courses. These programs were conducted for SSB and CRPF North Bengal Frontier units. He joined Christ University in 2023 as a faculty member.
