Dr. Nithy Cecil completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Women?s Christian College. She earned her PhD from the University of Madras. She has taught psychology at Madras Christian College, Women?s Christian College, and the University of Madras. Dr. Cecil has published several scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. She has also presented her research at both national and international conferences. Her research areas include anxiety, adolescent psychological well-being, experimental psychology, and food psychology. Dr. Cecil continues to contribute to the academic community through her active research and teaching roles.
