Objectives
Objectives of the Student Council
- To imbibe and inculcate among students the Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Graduate Attributes of the University.
- To provide constructive feedback on various aspects of campus life including academic programmes, general discipline, library facilities, campus maintenance, and student service facilities.
- To suggest measures for improving academic quality, standards, and the research culture among students.
- To suggest and implement student projects that promote holistic student development.
- To identify, assess, evaluate, and present student perspectives in the development of arts and culture, sports and games, and other curricular and extracurricular activities.
- To identify and recommend methods for improving student life, conduct, and discipline.
- To assist the Anti-Ragging Committee in eliminating the menace of ragging on campus.
- To assess and enhance student placement potential and facilitate internship opportunities.
- To promote effective and healthy use of student service facilities and suggest continuous improvements.
- To assist and promote student initiatives and centres such as the Centre for Social Action (CSA), National Cadet Corps (NCC), Student Welfare Office (SWO), Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS), Sports and Games Team, and the Peer Education Programme.
- To foster effective interaction among students, faculty, staff, and management to build a strong academic community.
- To establish and maintain continuous engagement with University alumni, nurturing the Christite spirit through meaningful activities.
