Message from VC

It gives me great pleasure to welcome all of you to CHRIST (Deemed to be University) for the new academic year 2018-19!

I cherish this time of the year with all. The new entrants bring in novel and innovative ideas to our campus and infuse a remarkable energy in each one of us. This helps us work with renewed passion and commitment towards realizing our vision - Excellence and Service.

The University is committed to its Vision. We aim to deliver a world-class student experience, academic and otherwise, work together to create a public institution that is connected to its local roots and traditions and yet responds to the global needs and concerns. We believe education can transform and create compassionate communities, and a sustainable future. Towards this end, we nurture the spirit of curiosity, foster a sense of ethical perspective, promote the relevance of service towards communities, and incorporate new initiatives in pedagogy, research, and industry collaborations. We, at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), provide an education that makes a student transform into a responsible citizen and face the future with knowledge, confidence, commitment, compassion, and resilience.

Students have an enormous responsibility here. They need to identify the plethora of available opportunities, collaborate, and realize the vision of our University along with their peers, faculty members, and staff who together make this Institution.

This year, let us remind ourselves that this new year holds possibilities of experiences that have never been; it is our chance to make them possible! Let’s explore our world and the future together as a family!
