Dr. Riya Baby serves as Assistant Professor in the School of Sciences. She also functions as a PhD Coordinator at CHRIST University. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Sacred Heart College. She pursued her Masters, MPhil, and PhD at CHRIST University, Bengaluru. She secured first rank and received a gold medal in M.Sc. Mathematics. During her MPhil, she worked as a lecturer at Jyothi Nivas College. She also served as a Research Assistant at CHRIST University, Bengaluru. She worked as a Mathematics lecturer at Fathima Convent School. She joined CHRIST University as an Assistant Professor in 2019. Her research specialization lies in fluid mechanics. She has published research articles in reputed academic journals. She remains engaged in teaching, research, and academic coordination activities. She contributes to mathematical research and higher education development.
