Gaveshna is a research-oriented workshop-cum-seminar, jointly organized by Tafteesh, the research club, and Paracosm, the bi-annual journal of Ellipsis, the English and Cultural Studies Association of the Department of English and Cultural Studies, CHRIST, Bannerghatta Road Campus. It is especially intended for UG students to help them develop their research sensibilities. This year, we deal with topics related to the vast field of mobility.
The event consists of a workshop in which a speaker would familiarize UG students with some aspects of research and research writing, followed by a paper presentation to where a panel of expert respondents give feedback to student paper presentations. Additionally, the papers that best incorporate this feedback would be published in Paracosm, the bi-annual journal.
