The Department of Social Work commemorated its Decennial celebration on 25 July 2015. Dr (Fr) Thomas C Mathew, Vice Chancellor of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), presided over the function. Prof S Parasuraman, Director, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, was the chief guest of the celebration. The guest of honor was Ms. Ruth Lascano Leaño, Chief Field Office for Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and Karnataka, UNICEF India.

After the official function faculty members interacted with Mr. Jugnu.Oberoi, the President of the Alumni Association, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and with other Alumni members of the Department and motivated them to involve alumni activities of the University. Guests, faculty members and students joined for a photo session and had lunch together.
