On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Center for Counseling & Health Services (CCHS) will launch a digital awareness initiative to promote the importance of workplace safety, health, and overall well-being among students and the campus community. As part of the campaign, the CCHS team will create and share an Instagram reel focusing on essential safety and health aspects in everyday work and academic environments. The reel will highlight key themes, including maintaining physical safety, managing stress and burnout, understanding the importance of ergonomic practices, and fostering a culture of responsibility and care in workplaces and educational settings. The content will present practical, easy-to-follow strategies that students can adopt in their daily routines, including safe work habits, mental health awareness, and recognizing early signs of fatigue or stress. It will also address common misconceptions about workplace safety, emphasizing that safety extends beyond physical hazards to include psychological and emotional well-being. Through this digital initiative, CCHS aims to encourage students to adopt healthier, safer practices, raise awareness of occupational health, and create a more mindful, supportive campus environment. By leveraging social media platforms, the campaign aims to achieve wider reach, greater engagement, and sustained awareness of the importance of safety and health across all spheres of work and life.
