The Department of Computer Science, School of Sciences, is organizing a guest lecture titled "Beyond the Ballot: The DNA of Indian Democracy" as part of its ongoing initiative to provide students with interdisciplinary learning experiences. The session will be conducted by Dr. Chetan Jayant Dixit, Assistant Professor, School of Law, Christ University – Pune Lavasa Campus. The lecture aims to offer first-year students a deeper understanding of the foundational principles that sustain Indian democracy, going beyond electoral processes to explore constitutional values, civic responsibilities, and institutional frameworks. The session is designed to encourage critical thinking and active engagement among students of the School of Sciences. This event is open to all first-year students of the School of Sciences.
