As part of Inbloom 2026, an international musical performance by the renowned Ziskakan Band from Réunion Island will be hosted on campus by the Student Welfare Office (SWO) from 19th to 21st February 2026. Known for their powerful fusion of traditional Maloya rhythms with contemporary musical expressions, Ziskakan offers a compelling artistic narrative rooted in culture, identity, and social consciousness. This international collaboration provides students with valuable global exposure, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of diverse artistic traditions within the academic community. The performance creates an opportunity for the campus community to engage with international artists, encouraging dialogue, creativity, and a broader worldview through music. The inclusion of the Ziskakan Band at Inbloom 2026 reflects the University’s commitment to promoting international engagement and enriching student experiences beyond the classroom. Inbloom 2026 is hosted by the Student Welfare Office, reaffirming its commitment to fostering inclusive, culturally rich, and globally connected experiences on campus.
