Dr. Augustine Joseph earned his PhD from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus. His research spans various areas, including development, agricultural, international economics, and econometrics. Dr. Augustine?s recent work focuses on crime economics, exploring socioeconomic factors influencing crime rates. With a strong background in econometric modeling, panel data, and time series analysis, he has presented at national and international conferences. His research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, showcasing his rigorous approach to quantitative studies. Dr. Augustine is passionate about teaching. He teaches Advanced Econometrics, Statistics, and Game Theory, bringing his research insights into the classroom.
