Dr. Chandan Roy is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Christ University. He previously worked at SRM University, Sikkim, as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Roy also served as a Consultant at the National Council of Applied Economic Research, New Delhi. He has experience as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Bank Management, Pune. Dr. Roy?s expertise includes climate change, environmental, public, and development economics. He has over a decade of empirical research and more than six years of teaching experience. Dr. Roy holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Environmental Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has presented his research at international conferences, including those by the World Bank and the University of San Francisco. His research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches and practical solutions to global challenges. Dr. Roy is currently supervising a Ph.D. scholar in Labour Economics. His work contributes significantly to both academic discourse and policy development.
