The Global backyard bird count takes place every year over four days around the middle of February. Sine it is carried out at around the same time every year, GBBC helps create an annual, real time snapshot of how birds habituate a place. The excitement of the event is contagious and makes it make this event as a great platform to introduce students to birds and
bird-watching.GBBC 2020 took place from 14th-17th February 2020. It is a coordinated effort to document bird life in CHRIST University campus. The basic procedure is to list all the bird species seen at a particular location during the days of GBBC and the list of birds were uploaded in the e-bird, a bird recording.
