Undergraduate Media Lab
The Undergraduate Media Lab is a comprehensive creative, technical, and research-oriented space designed to support hands-on learning, media production, and academic inquiry. The lab houses a fully functional recording studio and 10 advanced editing suites equipped with the latest versions of Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve software, enabling students to engage in professional post-production and research-driven media projects. Students have access to high-end cameras for photography and videography, supporting both creative production and visual research documentation, thereby allowing learners to gain practical experience in live production, multi-camera setups, broadcast workflows, and experimental research in television and digital media formats.
Experiential Learning Media Lab
The Experiential Learning Media Lab is dedicated to exploring emerging technologies, immersive storytelling, and practice-based media research. The lab includes advanced AR/VR infrastructure that enables students and researchers to experiment with virtual environments, interactive narratives, audience engagement studies, and immersive media applications. It is supported by five editing suites equipped with Adobe software for post-production, design, and research-based media analysis. The integration of Dolby Atmos sound technology facilitates advanced training and research in spatial audio, sound design, and cinematic audio production, preparing students and scholars to engage with next-generation media technologies and experiential research methodologies.
