In continuation with the discussions on Academic Intellectual Entrepreneurship (AIE) and Strategic plans the Department of Social Work initiated the Action Lab.

Objectives of the Action Lab are;

• To develop skills and competencies among social work students in preparing them towards action oriented practices in social work on every Saturdays. Please find the attached document regarding the skills development programme.

 

• To expose students of social work and other students from different background on various social realities in the society and help them imbibe social responsibility.

 

• To serve as an action group for working in communities, forming student volunteers and developing programmes to cater to the needs of the community.

 

• To design and develop extension activities in connection with other departments especially Students of Applied Sociology in LR Nagar.
