The synthetic and computational chemistry group focuses on synthesis and employs computational chemistry to understand various chemical reactions at the molecular level. The primary emphasis of the computational studies will be on reaction mechanisms, stereoselectivity, and catalysis. In the area of catalysis, we will explore both transition metal-catalyzed reactions and emerging, greener main-group catalysis.
