Dr. Rolla Das specializes in Philosophy of Language (Semiotics), Cognitive Linguistics, and Digital Storytelling. She holds a master?s degree from Jadavpur University and a PhD in Cognitive Linguistics from NIAS and Manipal University. Her research focuses on caste and gender representation in Digital Storytelling, Game Studies, and higher education. Dr. Das has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters to national and international anthologies. She has served as Coordinator for the Centre for Publications for four years. Additionally, she was the Editor for Tattva Journal of Philosophy, a UGC-recognized journal, for five years. Dr. Das has been a faculty member at Christ University since 2016. She is currently the Coordinator for the MA in English with Communication Studies program. She also leads internationalization initiatives for the department. Her ongoing research includes a project on the impact of Transformative Pedagogy in Higher Education in Karnataka.
