Dr. Bidyut Bhusan Jena, a poet, writer, and translator, holds degrees from the University of Hyderabad and The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. His expertise spans Indic Studies, East-West Encounter, Comparative Philosophy, World Literatures, Translation Studies, Creative Writing, and Nature Studies. Originating from a village near the river Kharasrota in Odisha, Dr. Jena currently teaches literature and philosophy at Christ Deemed to be University, Bangalore Central Campus. He writes in English and Odia, contributing to various magazines, journals, and newspapers such as Muse India, Erothanatos, The Hans India, and The Eastern Times. His poetry collections Pages (2019) and A Letterbox Across Time (2020) were published by Writers Workshop and Hawakal Publishers, Kolkata, respectively.
