1 Cost analysis of midrise RCC buildings designed in various seismic zones and soil conditions of India The paper deals with cost analysis of midrise RCC buildings designed and detailed seismically, located under various soil conditions and seismic zones of the India. The study provides total structural quantities in terms of concrete, steel and shuttering material per unit area of floors. The results aim at providing the approximate cost trend of midrise buildings under different seismic zones and soil conditions.
