Programme Overview

About the Programme

The programme is designed with a focus on Psychology and English as part of the Undergraduate dual major programme. It aims at sustaining a keen academic interest across two major disciplines through various student training experiences, projects, internships, workshops, field visits, and association activities. The courses in Psychology introduce students to the fundamental processes underlying human behaviour while familiarising them with emerging fields and branches of psychology such as Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial Psychology & Consumer Behaviour, Health Psychology, and Positive Psychology. The programme also includes practicum and skill-building courses, along with opportunities to undertake research projects and internships. The English component of the programme provides extensive exposure to literature, language, critical theory, cultural studies, academic writing, and communication. The interdisciplinary structure of the programme equips students with strong research, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills relevant to contemporary academic and professional environments.

Interdisciplinary Learning

Students explore the relationship between human behaviour, language, literature, and society through an integrated curriculum.

Experiential Pedagogy
