Welcome to the Department of Commerce at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
At the heart of our academic philosophy lies a student-centric approach. We believe in whole-person development, nurturing not just academic excellence but also personal growth, leadership, and global citizenship.
Our students are exposed to a range of experiential learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom. From internships that offer hands-on corporate exposure, to industrial visits that bring real-world business dynamics into focus, we ensure our students are industry-ready and future-focused.
We take pride in the fact that all our departmental activities are student-led—whether it's academic events, community outreach, entrepreneurship fairs, or cultural programs. Students are encouraged to take leadership roles, work in collaborative teams, and actively participate in decision-making processes that shape their learning journey.
To help students master essential 21st-century skills, we emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, and the development of a positive, growth-oriented attitude.
Our programs are enriched with industry-driven certification courses, international collaborations, and exchange opportunities—including short-term immersion programs and semester exchange with leading universities across the globe. These engagements help broaden students’ perspectives and prepare them for a global career.
We also strongly advocate for financial literacy for all, embedding financial awareness and practical skills in our curriculum to create informed and empowered individuals.
With a rich ecosystem of opportunities, the Department of Commerce ensures every student has the platform to discover their strengths, develop their potential, and thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
We look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant academic community.
