About the Programme
VLSI (Very Large-Scale Integration) Design is a major domain of Electronics and Communication Engineering that involves the process of designing an integrated chip (IC) by integrating millions of MOS (metal oxide semiconductors) onto a single chip. The growth of internet has led to the tremendous growth of Smartphones, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, embedded systems which has enhanced the importance of VLSI design in the current industry workforce. In addition the recent developments seen in artificial intelligence and machine learning has ensured that the growth of electronic gadgets shall continue over the years. Any electronic gadget requires the usage of integrated chips (IC) whose design is now very much in demand. This programme of Post Graduate Diploma in VLSI Design-Digital design and Architectures and Post Graduate Diploma in VLSI Design – Analog and Mixed Signal Circuit Design is aimed at providing the required skills with practical exposure to the engineers and working professionals that is needed in the digital design of VLSI systems so that they become better prepared and skilled to perform in the ever-changing technological world.

To make the faculty up to date armed with knowledge to train the ever-inquisitive young minds we push our standards higher regularly. The department provides unique opportunities for aspiring students as they get trained in all aspects of academia as well as the life skills that will help them succeed as they pass out of the university. Different pedagogy adapted by the department groom the students towards the ever-changing landscape of technology with necessary skills required to perform their work meticulously. On the whole our aim is to impart the necessary knowledge and instill the confidence in all the students that play a paramount fragment in their success from day one of their career. We, as the proud family of the Christites imbibe the golden words of Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, “All of us do not have equal talent. But , all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents.”
