Nurture the Nature

The Centre for Climate Action (CCA) at Christ University launched the "Nurturing the Nature" initiative, a student-driven effort to care for the neglected plants around the campus. While several saplings had been planted as part of various environmental drives, many were left unattended, struggling to survive without regular care. Recognizing this gap, a dedicated group of students took the initiative to nurture these plants and ensure their healthy growth.

Every early morning, a group of passionate volunteers gathered to water the plants, remove plastic waste, and enrich the soil with manure. This initiative was not just about sustaining greenery but also about instilling a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship among students.

Beyond the physical effort, "Nurturing the Nature" fostered a deep connection between students and their surroundings, reinforcing the belief that small, consistent actions can lead to meaningful environmental change. This activity stands as a testament to CCA’s mission of sustainability through action, proving that true climate responsibility begins with simple yet impactful steps.
