Quotients by CAPS BGR

Greetings from the Centre for Academic and Professional Support – CAPS, BGR Campus!
Quotients are a measure of assessing an individual’s ability to respond to various challenges and excel in life. Challenges can include mental breakdown, stress, peer pressure, substance abuse etc. which an individual may experience in their everyday life. Quotients are essential to navigate these critical development areas of university students and discover constructive ways to process their thoughts to thrive in a team setting and achieve collective objectives.
To help with this, CAPS BGR is conducting “Quotients” a three-day event on 23rd, 25th and 28th of January 2023 focusing on social, emotional, and adversity quotients. These sessions are designed to help students enhance their ability to practise character strengths and employ the learnings for personal and professional development.
The facilitators for the events are Dr Sumathi Annamalai, Associate Professor at the School of Business and Management, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and Dr John Paul, Assistant Professor at School of Business and Management, CHRIST (Deemed to be University). Their areas of experience include organizational behaviour, psychometric testing and training and development.  The participants can gain valuable insights from their extensive experience in the corporate and academic domains.
